A TRIBUTE TO BIBI BALWANT KAUR JI
Bibi Ji's legacy of seva, simran and kirtan continues through the many lives she inspired. In the spirit of seva she lifted people to rise above the narrow confines of their own lives and look to the wider concerns of the community and the betterment of human kind. She inspired those far and wide to aspire higher than their own set of circumstances. She wiped the tears of sorrow and replaced them with hope and joy.
Bibi Ji was a truly enlightened soul blessed and gifted to the world from Akaal Purakh (God) himself. With her she carried the innate and divine light of the Lord and permeated with divine love which was experienced in awe by all those who came in contact with her. Just being in her presence would lift the spirits. She left with us the template of a true Gursikh, and an unexplainable innate emotion that still stirs in the souls of all who knew her and think of her.
She was the honour of the honourless, she was the home of the homeless, she was the support of the unsupported. She was the hope of the hopeless. She uplifted and guided all in the remembrance of the Guru, to walk the path of Seva, Simran and Kirtan.
Her enlightened spirit and legacy lives on through the many lives she touched and continues to touch through the institutions that she was pivotal in establishing, that continue to serve human kind regardless of caste, colour or creed, without any discrimination.
Today through the people she inspired her projects continue to grow and expand globally from India with the recent opening of the Bibi Balwant Kaur Ji School which serves many children in Sultanpur Lodhi to the UK where extension and refurbishment building project is in its later stages of completion, enhancing its mission to reach out to deeper within the community and serve an even wider scope.
